"We bought the full package with Optimum in Autumn 2006 and are pleased with the quality of data, training and additional support that we have received. The Value Added information (in the dataSEF+ report) gives us a clear picture of expected progress for our cohort groups from Y3 to Y6. Individual pupils making less than expected progress are identified in the report at the beginning of the school year which is useful information for the class teacher and enables them to target appropriate support very early on. The Optional SATs question Analysis Report identifies and displays which questions have caused problems for cohorts and gives the class teachers and subject leaders excellent data to inform monitoring and planning in specific subjects.

OfSTED inspected our school recently and recognised that we had a good understanding of our school as a result of showing them the evidence backed up in the Optimum Reports and how we used the information within the SEF and our School Development Planning. "
